Paint Party Friday!

Let's get this blog rolling, shall we? I've been painting, painting, painting this week and I wanted to link up once again with one of my favorite blogs: Paint Party Friday. First up is a work in progress, a little lighthouse scene:

Still have a ways to go with this but I really like it so far!

A little Valentines postcard

I was trying to play with a coffee and salt technique for this background but it didn't work quite as well as I had hoped...The salt left a very scratchy surface to work on (yes, I scraped off as much of the salt that I could) and it didn't affect the coffee as it should have...ah well, it's still a rather cute card:
 
 
And these are a couple bookmarks I'd made up for my Creative Pay It Forward project this month--I'd made cards to match but forgot to take pictures before they went postal this week!


So that's what I've been up to this week. Hope to get some more painting done later today and blog planning this weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

    The flowers are all so sweet and I love that one with the pink background! But my favorite is the little lighthouse with the stone building, beautiful!
